The BurgundyFest was a series of raucous events dedicated to all things Anchorman, the Legend of Ron Burgundy. The events took place over a 3 year period in and around the Pacific Northwest. The events were well-attended, extremely profitable, beloved by all and a true testament to the power of social media and digital advertising.

The BurgundyFest was the culmination of the hard work, imagination, ingenuity, horse trading and marketing prowess of a business partner of mine and I. Over several events we served well over 6000 guests and grew a tremendous following and calling in the Pacific Northwest. We were able to use digital assets and an email strategy to leverage tens of thousands of dollars in unpaid media exposure and PR into a highly profitable part-time venture. Additionally we received national media attention and eventually received a mention for our hometown (Salem, Oregon) in the Anchorman sequel.
